Great Blended Learning Tools

Blended Learning Tools Gizmos Gizmos is a particularly helpful tool to assist students with understanding concepts through online interaction. This resource is particularly helpful for science and contains labs, which promote learning through the power of doing. There are also clear instructions and questions based on the results that the students achieve. Not all students will achieve the same results all of the time, allowing for the sharing of process at the end. LINK Canva Canva offers an opportunity for students to share their learning in different ways, rather than just through written assignments. It allows students to complete their research and produce a product that is unique to their own specific needs, or communication strengths. They can produce infographics in a variety of ways and organize them according to any template that they find to be most effective. LINK Kahoot This is a way for students to test their knowledge, while also enjoying the competitive aspect of a game...

Complete any and all tasks to the best of your ability - I am very excited to see all of your work and it is important for us all (including myself) to give our best each and every day. 3.  Ontario College of Teachers Standards The Ontario College of Teachers Standards are essential for maintaining high teaching standards and ensuring that students receive the best education possible. These standards guide my teaching methods and professional development. By adhering to these standards, I aim to create a positive and effective learning environment for all students. What do these standards look like for students? Care: Caring for the feelings and experiences of our classmates. Making everyone feel like a valued member of this class. Trust: Trusting one another to give our best each and every day. Respect : Being respectful when commenting on another classmate's post, or working together in groups. There should never be any hurtful comments made to another classmate Integrity: Respecting the work of our other classmates and being sure to complete our work with our work with our full effort each time
